In-Person Visitation
In-person visitation at the Lauderdale County Detention Center is limited to attorneys and their authorized staff. Representatives from approved Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Centers may also be granted in-person visitation for assessment purposes, but only with prior approval from the Director of Corrections.
No other contact visits are permitted unless specifically authorized by the Director. These rare face-to-face visits are typically reserved for exceptional circumstances such as death notifications or emergencies. All requests for special visitation will be reviewed and approved on a case-by-case basis and must demonstrate a valid or emergency need.
